Personally I already accepted ml as the ml and I don't mind the second chance. I see that there are people hating on him and also protecting him. Is that really necessary?? Like if people want to hate then let them, it's not that bad. Even if it's wrong why do people want to correct it that bad and start spoiling? Most of the hate comments are in a heat of moment from what they see and they might not be on the same chapter. So just accepting it feels way better, they'll eventually know
