If u r in highschool then just study hard and do your best and i advise to realy focus on chemistry
The educationel système in my country is like we chose a spécialities in highschool u chose S which means science or M mathématique or TM technical math in which u also chose a specilaty chemistry or architecture....and also littérature which u have to study 4 languges
i only studied 3 because i was an S ( science field)
To answer your question i had to make understand this
First of all i did study almost everything so in Sience we study physique chemstry math and a lot of science u can say we have a vast knowledge in everything and a deep one in science
But unlike TM THEY study everything but specialize in one field like chemistry
So in university when i studied pharmacy it was hard because a lot of my friend who were TM that spécialized in chemistry were ahead of me by a lot the professeurs did their job but u can say i was a bit jealous because i have to do 3 time the effort of my TM FRIEND because in the first 2 years of pharmacy u study fondamentls like biology (cytologie embryologie.. histologie.....) and chemistry and biophysique and organic chemistry biochemistry that was hard really hard i did pass but it was because i was a major in biologic fields so im only averge when it comes to chemistry
Not gonna lie in my first year i did zero effort i only studied at night of the exam but i passed with really good grades
But in my second and first year u can say its hard ashell but what can i say i just love what i study even tho chemistry is hard its still beautiful but not better than biology
And to get to know medecin better i advise to be a technicien in your local pharmacy u can take advise from the pharmacist i did that too but i prefer working in the lab
And my final advice is u have to study basic chemistry try your best to read books but not vast books chose something related i study in french so idk about it if its english i advise BECK organic chemistry
It will start from the basic
Remember BECK THEY have many other fields i cant remember it right now

Its truly amazing when you r freshman u r so happy about what will become of u
And sometimes u will iam not enough this is top hard for me i should have chosen an easier fields
I should just get married(im arab muslim so most girls think of marriage as an escape route when they have exams like i should just be married with sweet husbdand instead of this horror) but after exam i be like im an indépendant women i will achieve my dreams
This is just to say even tho we all have moment of doubts even me i was always first of my class imagine me being not good enough really did hit my ego was zero uni destroyed my ego
But than i started to make an effort and they never seem to be good enough
But u just have to find your balance your methods and TO Not WASTE TIME and to know when to stop and take it easy
I really want u to remember my text when u r having moments of DOUBTS DONT WORRY WE ALL HAD THIS MOMENTS IT MAY LAST EVEN YEAR FOR SOME OF MY FRIENDS REALLY WANTED TO DROP OUT BUT THEY MADE SOO IM NOT CHEEZY LIKE DO NOT GIVEUP BUT BE SMART AND ORGANIZE URLSF
AND EVEN IF U DOUBT SOMETIMES REMEMBER U DID MAKE IT THIS FAR SO U CAN MAKE AT FARTHERE
AND U WILL HAVE YOUR DOCTORAT NOTHING IS GIVEN WITHOUT PRICE IN T HIS LIFE

OMG! I have a high respect for pharmacists. Back then, my first choice when i go to uni is pharmacy, but it changed because i love taking care of people inside and outside hospitals so I chose nursing. But now, I feel like I want to pursue pharmacy or biochemistry
