I tried to watch it to I gave up at the point when they were like at a village or something and there was a snow storm I think?

I'll be honest, I skipped a lot of episodes. I watched the first 13 in dub, got bored and skipped to ep. 16 Still was bored so I went right to ep. 51 in sub. I'm at 53 now.

I probably should have started in sub, but the dub was okay. I'm more interested now that I'm watching the sub, but it's still so-so.

Not sure why I'm not getting into it. I like shounen. Watched Bleach religiously and Naruto. Of course, I slash the hell out of a couple of charas from those anime though.

I started in sub too, but if you skip episodes you may miss something but you can try reading the manga if you you do miss something. Allen is SO FRICKING CUTE

I can always go back and watch the episodes I skipped if there's something I don't understand.
I also skipped a bunch of episodes in Gintama and now it's like my #1 anime of all time with my fave OTP hehe

yeah u can skip the first but don't skip Miranda's and Alistar's case they are really interesting (u will learn things about Allen's past)
also don't forget around ep.30 or 35 to watch cauz' one of the marshal will face something terrible.
and from ep.50 starts the real story
things gonna change so u gonna get into it

Youve got to continue watching the series. I swear the anime is so cool and it gets better.

The fact that Allen was HAWT was like part of the reason why i kept watching it.
