Yes that’s what it sounded like to me too but then she mentioned Cayden in the last scene. That said it does sound a bit stupid so I can only assume she’s going to pin it on Agnes somehow.
Finally! This is what I loved about the first story; the political intrigue! There’s literally so much that can go wrong without Jessica’s gender bending that it’s funny that it went on for so long at all. I can see this story lasting much longer than light and shadow. Honestly though her poisoning Cayden herself seems a little too trite.
