I think the original FL and the current FL(The villainess) were childhood best friends. The original FL use to visit the mc a lot to yanno hang out, train and whatever. During those meeting the original ML caught feelings for the bestfriend and in return made things awkward. Maybe to the point where the original villainess assumed she only came around to just be with her fiancé. And I think the missing memory she mentioned is the fact that the og villainess was training her in sword art or she knew of her dreams to be a swordsman.
When she mentioned somethings about “when you woke up I hoped you would come to me or tell the truth” I think it was to tell everyone the real reasons she came around them. Instead of the rumors. The only person who could have cleared up the misunderstanding was the original Villianess since her fiancé wouldn’t because he was inlove with her. And I think in the original story she ended up giving into the pressure and stayed with the first ML.
