The plot is unique, it's pretty interesting to me as a non-japanese to get to know kabuki drama (did I say it right here?) as a part of japanese traditional culture!
It's also interesting that men can take roles as female characters. It seems to me that "men wearing women's clothes" isn't counted as something weird or taboo in japan. I always think japanese people have a different point of view in many things in life. This manga can help people to be a bit more open-minded :) I'm so glad I read this manga!

And btw the couple here are indeed actors, huh? They're so goodlooking!

    Actually, in the past it was always men who played female roles. Japanese culture is more traditional and thus you still have performances like that. In Europe they would probably start shouting "gender inequality!" and that would be the end of it. ;)

    Ooohh so that's what happened... I see it now.. about "gender inequality", it makes sense.. people in different part of the world take things differently, I guess? Well thanks for sharing the info :D
