My theory is she didn’t see (and no one saw it too according to their discussion) because the ML was under an illusion set by the demon... so basically he was living in an illusion where he thought that he tried to save her but in the « real world » the girl just jumped, hold the steel bar and crashed below
That could explain why the ML wasn’t questioned by the police or medics on the rooftop... no one saw him « holding » her hand to prevent her fall...
He did tried to save her, but because of the illusion nobody see him, it worked even on photos, but his uncle could see him on the photo, because illusion doesn't work on him, come on it was explained so well... (￣∇￣")
