I agree but also disagree with this. Since his trauma do justify why he is a dick. The ml is an absolute dick no doubt about it but his first wife really did a number on him and at a young age too. (Not trying to spoil it in case anyone don’t know.) does the ml need to be held accountable for his actions towards his daughter and past/current fl? Hell yes! But i also sympathize with him since I know why he’s acting the way he do and if his first wife never came into his life he would have been a completely different person.

I to sympathize with him because of his trauma but I won’t excuse his current actions because it’s hurting the people around him now. I know the spoilers about his past and while that’s tragic I don’t think anything I said makes his trauma seen unimportant. In the present he’s a terrible husband and father and while I may feel bad for him I feel worse for the daughter and FL. If the situation got bad enough or this was a darker story the FL could even be cast out or targeted for not being able to “do her job” or looked down upon more because of the treatment of her husband and she literally can’t fight him because he’s the emperor

That is correct but if you think about it he have a phobia because of what his first wife did not to mention the daughter is the outcome of that horrible situation. Most victims of that situation tend to have a problem getting close to their child/children because they remind them of that horrible situation. It’s definitely not easy to just get rid of a phobia and trauma especially if no one knew about it and he suffering on his own. At the end of the day he is a victim just like the fl and the daughter. I sympathize with all of them.

Yes i wish he was a bit nicer especially to his daughter but it’s really not that easy. And if he was a women I wouldn’t change my reasoning. Every victim deserves to heal and he never had that chance to heal. He became a father at a young age he couldn’t even enjoy his youth because of all the responsibilities that are put on his shoulders. Yes I wholeheartedly agree that he should be held accountable for his actions but he have his reasons.
