Yeah, I don't think Seung was being manipulative either. He's too much of an honest guy (although very uncontrollable with his emotions). I mean, if there's an example, it'd be when Jiwoon compared how the two ate with him at cheap places. Blondie was fake as hell and making it look like he enjoyed eating it while Seung was honest and ate the food as if he didn't really like it all that much. I think that's why Jiwoon can't handle Seung too much because he's too true to himself and doesn't hide his dark side unlike Blonde bitch.
And honestly, I love honest people but I know some people out there who like those who try to hide parts of themselves.
Exactly! He is person with obvious fucked up mental health who never got any medical help for psychological and physical abuse he endured by hands of his own family, he is mentaly unstable and the situation with Jiwook was breaking point for him and culminated in him selfharming. If he did it to manipulate Jiwook to gain his sympathy and "have his way" he would show the woond to Jiwook imediately and not bother to hide it the whole time and hide it behind his back and say it's nothing once JiWook noticed.
I know this is an unpopular opinion but i feel kind of bad for the sueng. I don’t think he hurt himself to be manipulative, i think he really just doesn’t know how to control his emotions. At least he doesn’t fake like mr nice guy and is honest about who he is unlike that blonde dickhead who’s playing min ji wook like a fiddle.
