Feel bad for you if you were looking forward to a Webtoon adaptation!
But calling this an insult is an actual insult in itself to the author of this Webtoon and their hard work:/ There are things called new-interpretations with adjustments for the used medium. You don't have to read this. And you can still continue to like your books. Those then are 2 different things you can compare if you want to, but please stay respectful when you do so. Its artistic freedom that you don't have to like, but you also don't have to be a dick about it. Just live and let live...
And I don't see how this is ruining the books. The books will still be great if you like them. You just don't like this Webtoon then, which is perfectly fine!
I am being respectful. It's not following the book it describes nothing like the book they should not have even named it after the book. It is an insult to the fans who love Mary's work. It's just not good. And just in case someone who's a fan of hers comes across this I wanted them to know that so they don't waste their time. And where the heck are you getting that I said I didn't like the artist freedom? I didn't, but since you want to be a dick and bring it up obviously you feel some type of way about it. Just live and let live
Mary Calmes is one of my favorite writers, and this is literally ruining the books (this is book one of the three book series). You're better off using your imagination while reading the book, this is an insult.
