Plot: I'd rate this probably 9.5/10
The way this was written was, a fucking masterpiece. I had to keep going to know what shit was gonna go down, it's definitely different from the rest of the Yaoi novels and manga, but it has a the same concepts of revenge and love that I like but with a painful sprinkle of angst that was so hard to swallow I almost chunk my phone to the sea. God lord, the emotion I had gone through, I love it and Hate It.
.5 is because somebody didn't die or died a painful, slow death, that I wanted but let's be real, sometimes even corrupt government officials lived comfortable lives and died comfortably.

Oh boy, yes, the thing I'd love to rate the most. Mc who can from an abusive family and abusive environment, got the taste of love and got drowned in it that he forgot to take care of himself and realized his own feelings matter too. I love him but I wished he would have ran away but I was thankful too that he got kidnapped since he didn't have the heart to do it. He was a character full of emotions and story, he wasn't 2d or shit, he was almost realistic. The fear, uneasiness, love, lust, confusion, naivete, and determination, he had them all and even the feeling of loss. He literally had me crying during the engagement, man was so fucking helpless and just accepting that he will cry behind Raymond's back just to not let that dude know he was not okay.
Phew Ian played my emotions man, he made me want to just, help him.
Raymond, was ah,,,,,,That sonovabitch made me want to kill him but at the same time not. I understand that revenge was his goal, he was such a character. In order to gain the power that he wanted he doesn't care about what people would think or how he will use his pawns. He was smart and calculating and impressive since he had planed for such a long time and almost got what he first wanted. I honestly wanna strangle him for a lot of reason but I guess, every man has a reason for their actions. Politics and royalty are messy, he did lose his family and saw how his love ones died, sometimes you really can't forgive people and that's understandable.
His past had made him fear of losing power, the people he love, and his life. He wanted revenge, he wanted those who should pay for their lives to perished and he wanted to be selfish and have all he wants.
I'm glad he had at least opened his third eye and realized that worth of happiness and love is better than regret and a fleeting moment of pleasure from achieve his revenge. Good lord I almost wanna smack him again.
Honestly this is such a wonderful manga to read and I love that it had a bit of the story of their lives as they left the noble life. I love this story and hated some characters ( fuxk u Betty I trusted you, you dumb fuck) and enjoyed every moment of it ( sometimes I wanna just throw my phone out the window, feelings are gonna get played while reading this)
