Raymond and Ian both made choices that were completely understandable. I didn’t even think Raymond was that red of a flag. He was just so goal oriented that he was willing to cast his feelings aside to gain power. Thats trauma response. He knew he was hurting Ian and hurting himself but that was the process he thought he had to pay for his goals.

Ian kinda gave up his dreams of Nersia to stay w Raymond. He was also tolerant of Raymond’s lovers because he just wants to stay in the safest place he has ever known. A few comments called him stupid but it’s not.

These two people had only known pain growing up. M satisfied with the ending how they found peace from each other.

Kaya’s relationship is the best.

    amen!!!

what makes a good character isn’t whether or not they’d do what we would, but what THEY would do with their history, background, and life experience. if we put ourselves in their shoes, all their choices (the good, bad, and cowardly) are all completely reasonable. they’re not always the best choices, but we’re all human, and we’re all flawed.

    bless your comment!
