The difference is that that is Harada's brand. As an author you have to make these things clear, it's your responsibility when you're putting things out for the public to consume that they understand. Lots of underage kids use this site so I think its important they understand the difference because I know when I was younger, a lot of these lines were blurred to me. There are very popular yaoi that use rape and normalize it so when I first started reading it, I didn't realize it was even rape. I wasn't part of the adult world so I didn't get see that they were unrealistic and unhealthy representations. Harada's work goes so far that it is clear it is unhealthy and she discuss this stuff with her fans.
Who's to say the author didn't make it clear. What you are reading is something someone else has translated and put out on the web in chaoters. And I don't feel that it should be the author's fault that under age individual gained access to their work that they themselves did not put out here. What about the responsibility of the parents to govern what there child has access to?
I'm with C Me. I can't believe people still push the whole "parents responsibility" thing. A parent can not know what their child is doing at all times, its just impossible. There are also things parents will not realize their child can access because when it comes to technology we grew up along with it while other generations did not. They don't know how to govern it, and honestly, they can't. And besides that, why are you so against the idea that when people speak or put something out into the world they not have any responsibility over it? I'm not saying that they should consider underage kids getting access to their work, (though, this manga would be where they can access it because it is not explicit and therefore doesn't have any restriction on it )I'm saying they should think about the message they want their work to send. That should be very important in the art of story telling.
I REALLY liked chapter 5, it’s so adorable in a twisted way
