Looking for a manga I can’t remember the name of. I believe it’s about a mentor and mentee/fantasy themed. It was not in color. I think that the mentor was actually a hired assassin and left after killing somebody in the mentee’s family or maybe didn’t in revenge bc the clan killed his family. They reunite in the future when the mentee is grown up (he is like the youngest of 3 brothers) and the mentor is like a medicine seller/herbal specialist or something. They start working together to uncover some plot happening in the mentee’s family.
They go back to the mentee’s clan in one chapter and he disguises himself as a woman but I think one of the mentees brother sees through it.

I can’t remember much about this manga because it was years ago and I didn’t completely read it. There’s basically a love triangle but then the two guys competing open up to each other one on one and share a kiss or something after talking about one of their traumas.
I think one guy may have had long hair and I think I remember him being in the other guys bedroom and they start off talking about the guy they’re competing over and then they start talking about the long haired guy and have a heart to heart and that guy gets shy but ultimately feels closer to and trusts the other guy after that. I think they kiss and maybe try to address the guys trauma?
I think it was a high school setting. Basically, at the end they all decide it’s fine to not pick a side because they all care about each other/are no longer threatened by one another. It made me actually think polyamory manga would be nice to read if it’s like that and I always meant to go back to read the entire thing but I lost it. If anyone remembers this one pleeeease help me out T.T
Ugh I hate love triangleeees. It’s too sad. It’s clear the childhood friends will end up together after dragging it out a little to properly crush the second leads heart. I don’t wanna see that!!! What do any of us get out of that, its just saaad T.T
But even if it goes the other way…what’s the point!? It’s not like I wanna see two people who like each other fail to get together because of miscommunication or something. Love triangles end in SADNESS. Sadness for the characters and sadness for me…
