Khalid wanted the fl to die as a "hero" and so to "protect her innocence" he killed her. He didn't even tell her that the country is doing dirty stuff through her because he thought it would "taint her purity". However the FL already figured out and wanted to talk about that to Khalid but before she had a chance that bish(Khalid) killed her. (However rn as Luci she doesn't remember that her country was the villain in the war. )
About the reincarnation thingy...
Remember that bish cut off FL's head in her previous life? Yes, he only showed FL's head to the emperor of angsar(idk how to spell it, it's the ML's country), but kept holding onto her corpse without the head and kept praying to God to reincarnate the FL.
Does Khalid find out about FL in Luci's body?
Yes he does. And he gets insanely obsessed with her.
I hate him even more now almost, he justified killing her because of respect. Was her perception of reality skewed and not realistic to what was actually happening? 100% yes, for example she didn’t understand the role of woman in her society and didn’t respect the woman or what they did. But we’ve also seen she was capable of learning and we see this in place. But not only did Khalid underestimate what she could take as well as her intelligence, her thought taking her life without consulting her about it was the best option for her. He thinks he’s doing what’s best for in spite of the fact that he’s the reason that she has PTSD and possibly other mental illnesses as well as barely being able to function now that he actively benefited off of her death. He can say that what he did was in her best interest or that he thought it was the right thing to do but that doesn’t mean shit when he didn’t even ask or consult her about what he was going to do. He hurt her in a way that is unforgivable and disgusting and he deserves whatever he has coming to him.
Will it take long? for him to find out that estelle is in luci's body?

Turns out the Country she was serving when she was Estelle is dirty. The Emperor was greedy for more power/land so he decided to declare a war with the Duke's (ML) Country.

Also about the White Haired man (another Duke) he was Estelle's Childhood friend as shown.
The Reason why He(White Haired man) killed Estelle was to save Estelle - Killing her
(Though I don't support his way of saving, he should've told her the truth and maybe fled).
He didn't want to let Estelle know the truth about the Country she was serving(She could've been in danger)
