I am only at chapter 53 but so far no romance. Best part of it. The woman Flora made a huge improvment personality and character wise. Alot of people are growing as person in this story.

The thing I don't dislike her calling off the engagement. Who will want to get married to a drug addict and a person who sleeps around. I don't. Even I would broken the engagement to a man like that. How could she have known that there would be a body swap.
But I dislike her presence cuz I just don't want this story to be romance. That's it. Its not her I dislike.

By sense of duty they mean giving her father, whos in a financial crisis, a way out not in terms of being a good woman loll calm down without the marriage her family will likely fall to ruin and so it’s her “duty” to prevent it
no its not thats a messed up way of thinking she's shouldnt have to sacrifice herself like that and her father dosnt even seem to care for her that much he was a dugie party kid to put it and she shouldnt have had to live in a abusive relationship just for the sake of her family no matter how mush i dislike blondie but like we veiw things diferently and have difering cultures i dont think aruging on a managa page change would change that but she def dosnt have to do that stuff and thinking that duty exists is toxic *by modern standards*

Just for me I’ve been raised to always put family first and blood is thicker than water kinda of mindset. So it’s hard for me to completely agree albeit I am exposing myself to more modern ideology.
But agree to disagree, in a more realistic stand point. She would’ve had no say regardless of what she had to say. Considering the old drug abuser forced to have her, she wouldn’t been able to refute due to toxic patriarchy.

For that time, she should have taken the role she was given. And that is to be wedded. That's her role, that's what she has to do if she wants to continue to live that kind of privilege life. That's what happend in that periode of life. To be wedded to forge bonds. To spoiler, he was no drug addict, he was schemed and only took the drug once without his knowledge and consent. He was a weak weak man and got played by his so called friend. And he loved flora even when a woman wanted to sleep with him while drugged, he cried and said he will not sleep with her because he will marry Flora. He would have never abused her and would have given her everything. The old Roman it is.
But he was weak and got blackmailed with false accusations and so he took his live.
Because some asked, she is not his fiance anymore and she was mentioned because he needed a reason to intervine in the war. Its a really good read and alot of blood. He is ruthless and I love it.
