i think it’s different because this manga was created in a whole different country (i believe). not everything is surrounded around america in korea , people gush over handsome/gorgeous people all the time and they gossip about them, which is a normal thing. that doesn’t happen in america
Also not all departments have different buildings like a lots of universities in America. I think it’s also cus their all firsties so lots of shared classes because of undecided majors and prerequisites :)
This must be this must be a really tiny college. Everyone seems to know everyone. Like, I was an Art major and if someone was like!

I’d be like, who? And also not care because… like, at least in colleges in California, there are not ‘beauties” and “handsome” people that others gush over. This has a very small town feel to it, where everyone knows everyone. I didn’t even know half the people in my elementary school, never mind the thousands of students in highschool and college. But I guess this story wouldn’t have much tension if those two frackers spread rumors and no one knew who they were talking about, or cared. XD
