I love it but at the same time, I don’t. I love how it ended well between Henry and Sam, like really. I feel genuinely happy for them because they’ve been through a lot and I understood both their sides of the story. I understand how they felt; the anxiety Henry was feeling, the fear of losing someone so important to him; and the frustration on Sam’s side. I haven’t experienced it myself but I just know and I feel that it’s also hard to be understood. Sam wanted to give love to Henry and he did it bravely. Henry was just having his own fears, he was being rational cause let’s all be honest, we’re not all risk takers. Not all of us can just let love take over. Like “okay ily let’s be together” without thinking of the consequences. Especially when you’re friends. Or rather BEST FRIENDS. The thing that I didn’t like about the story is how they just left Seth out if the pic. I kept thinking “So they’re just gonna be happy after hurting someone else” yet I understood that ofc Seth knows. He knows what he was doing and what he was getting into. I just felt bad for him personally. I feel like he cried so much after that call. I wish we could see more. I wanted to witness Seth being genuinely happy like the main couple. I wanted to see his happy ending too. Also I just wanna share that I SOBBED when I read what he said that henry was his summer I— ALL IN ALL IT WAS 5stars for me.
