This could have been such a good story, with the threeway romance, you know, the polyamorous trope, if only it was presented differently... Because it included creatures going against brutal and violent tendencies for the one they loved, BUT NO, at the end it was just rushed, and completely amoral, behaviour speaking, and senseless...
