We actually saw what he did, he went to this dude to try to recovery footage and the dude said it didn't work, so Ah-in trashed the glasses. Turned out the Tech dude had actually recovered the footage and was planong to either trade or blackmail the killer into killing his abusive boyfriend.

I think he got rid of them cuz he got back to using the normal pair and he also think that the glasses is ruined now due to the water
And we didn't see what Ah-in did with the memory card afterwards either. The IT guy may have told him it was useless to take it elsewehere, but for all we know Ah-in may still have the memory card with a second copy of the video at his home... (¬‿¬)
We never saw what Ah-In did with the glasses. I'm assuming this new guy found them and pulled the video file and is now enlisting the crazy guy to help him get revenge on his abusive ex boyfriend
