y'all remember chapter 34 35ish

He does want to but he is letting his own anxiety and fear of losing Sooyung fuck him up.

His biggest issue right now is his secret about his involvement with the death of Sooyung's uncle and he knows how Sooyung really loved his uncle. That's the secret he's most scared of, that Sooyung might find it out. That's why he even had his former friend's tongue cut out to keep the secret hidden.

Second is remember Sooyung's stabbing. He didn't expect Sooyung get stabbed and get nearly killed. He regretted his decision and even acknowledges that he almost got Sooyung killed, that he really fucked up. That's why after that chapter you'll notice he became even more protective and possessive to Sooyung. Because he nearly lost Sooyung once and he doesn't intend to let it happen again.

Now the current situation is Sooyoung's fault and partly Taesung's fault. Why? Because Sooyung already knew he is dealing with gangsters and yet he still snooped around. If he only stayed put none of this would've have happened. That being said, the reason Sooyung is snooping around in the first place is because he wants to know what Taesung is hiding, his secret and we know why Taesung is keeping it a secret in the first place. So now we have come full circle.

yeah i don't see how they can be endgame now once the cat is out of the bag. the only way for it to possibly happen is maybe there was something else and taesung didn't really do anything that led to sooyoung's uncle's death

It was clued in that Taesung was either forced to kill the uncle or that he accidentally killed the uncle. If i recall correctly, that was the time where Taesung was shaking and that he even asked his former friend to hug him and comfort him.

right right but considering how close sy was to his uncle idk if he can forgive ts be it forced or accidental

Sooyung's quite rational and not particularly hateful so I feel like maybe he'll listen and understand. He's definitely gonna get mad tho, for sure.
