The betrayal part was his wife's sis who got burned I think by yhe humans she loved so much, the pain of losing her sister...and yea she died joining the dirt (but I believe she still care for humans - in some of the panels u can see it). Well ML's dad must have really loved her in a way, how because his loved one suffered, he was angry in her stead kind of feeling....
I personally think its quite ok with the 2nd cp to be directly in the story or plot line, cuz it makes it feel like it all happen at the present or at the same time hahah (sometimes splitting seasons, make it less focus on the other couple and like changing MC kind of feel...which I dont really like much most of the times ). I personally feel like the dizzying part is the cuts of the pages or the edits lol
This was getting torturous. At first it was fine but maybe it's art having same face syndrome, maybe it's the philosophical gibberish lost in translation this got tiresome to read real quick. Could have done it in seasons with couple one and couple two. Also, nothing was explained properly. You were literally left to decipher shit like why he hated humans etc bcs his dead wife loved humans who betrayed her??? Nothing makes sense after a while. The art was really confusing. Really glad this is over.
