I’m not so sure I’d call it ulterior motives more like he has to play the political game and come up with justification in order to be with her? But I could be wrong I guess only season 2 will tell us!

I think I'm rooting for Kenneth for the most part but I'm interested in FL and the prince's route. It piqued my interest how he seemed the most different among the MLs. Granted, he most likely loves her as much as the other dudes but he seemed to have ulterior motives. I'm really more entertained in routes where there's not only love but a bit of politics and maybe mind games as well. And the foreshadowing of the prince showed just that.
