Just me thinking

Nanami July 13, 2021 7:11 pm

This is just a theory tho, I think Jiwoon kept Suha because he knew the redhead is gonna try to capture Suha again, that's why he doesn't want to say anything to Suha because Suha is gonna say he can handle it and everything will be a mess again just like before. However, I do think the way Jiwoon does it is pretty fucked up but yeah, that's all he can thinm of maybe? He just doesn't want Suha to get assaulted by the fucking redhead anymore. Oh yeah, I do think that Jiwoon is trying to reveal something about what the redhead did that's why he's keeping it low-key. Well idk and this is just a thought

    Most likely because (spoiler)

-Jiwoon stated he gives no fuck about the company, so he is most likely doing it for Suha’s safety. Especially because Suha wants to continue working there, I believe Jiwoon wants red head gone first.

And I’m still bothered by how Suha is so calm after what happened but okay. Jiwoon’s reaction seems pretty normal (anxiety/etc). Maybe Suha is just used to being so calm but still, sheesh.

Oh and Suha told Jiwoon not to involve the grandmother and Jiwoon said okay to that. This is proof he is most likely doing it for Suha.

maybe but taking away his phone was a lil unnecessary No? Just a thought, because what is the reason of taking his phone if he promised to stay inside?

Unnecessary? No, it was bad of him to, not just unnecessary. If I think from Jiwoon’s perspective though putting aside human morals of good or bad, he might’ve thought the red head could track Suha down or contact him, threatening Suha again, most likely thinking: What if Suha leaves again like he did before? What if something happens to him again?

Remember the recent incident? Look at that. It’s pretty normal reaction to be anxious and scared after what happened. Suha left with the red head when Jiwoon said not to, after Suha left, the drug took over Jiwoon, he felt like Suha abandoned him.

He doesn’t know Suha nearly sacrificed his body to the red head, I find it stupid honestly and unnecessary as to why Suha let red head force him and kiss him, etc, cause Suha could’ve’ defended himself earlier if he was gonna bite the used tampon dude imo.

It’s so common in BLs for characters to be hit with realization at the verge of a conflict issue striking directly. Suha is dense in a way, signs of issues/red flags are showing from Jiwoon but he still hasn’t realized that either. Jiwoon also needs someone to realize he isn’t healthy in the mind, the most important person is Suha to him, so I’m waiting for Suha to realize and help.

Both lack communication, some trust; believing both can’t defend themselves, etc. Hope something good happens.

    Very well put!

But I don't think Suha could've done anything at the time, not more than he's already done. Like, if he had done something, Tampon would tell grandma about how Jiwoon was drugging himself and that's one of the biggest shames in asian culture in general (as far as I know it), Jiwoon would loose his job for sure. Suha did what he could, he went with his abuser to save Jiwoon and he was very brave. In the end he saved himself and Jiwoon.
Jiwoon, in another hand, at the time, was completely powerless... he was on his knees, saying how he loves Suha so much he didn't care about any outcome, and he saw the person he loves kiss his own abuser to save him. I think this messed him up and Jiwoon now wants Suha only to himself, so nobody could ever hurt him anymore.
Well, yes, I know this isn't Suha's responsability but it'd be good if he could love Jiwoon when he is clearly on his worst........ he always tried to be so perfect, trying to win over Suha's heart. It's a pity because hes not on his right mind. But he was always possessive but not... sick like he is now. I hope Suha understands his side a bit.

I mean Suha defending himself from the start before Jiwoon even took the drugs but I guess they wouldn’t have known. I hope next time Suha defends himself more from the red head.

Yes drugs are shamed in the Asian culture, but I wish Suha wouldn’t have cared for that and just stayed with Jiwoon who powerlessly fell and tried to stop him. This is what I mean by Suha giving into the red head, I hope he doesn’t anymore.

Plus who would the red head tell about Jiwoon being drugged? The grandmother? Most likely but the grandmother doesn’t even care about him and Jiwoon doesn’t care about the company, but Suha doesn’t know that so nobody can blame Suha for not thinking about those.

The red head is one of the worst antagonists in BLs for me, he’s just so irritating and fucked up. What he did to Suha was horrible (they were only in high school at that time I believe). Jiwoon seeing red head kiss Suha is just sad and fucked up.

I hope Jiwoon tells his past story to Suha so Suha can know more about him and understand better. Both lack communication, but currently Jiwoon is the one hiding stuff the most.

Yes, he threatened to tell the grandmother. She could care less about him but she cares about the company, that's what I mean.
She'd finally have a reason to tell him off, knowing her way of thinking. How could she continue to have a director who uses drugs? He has always been a shame anyway, right? Jiwoon would loose his job, his position and his prestige *for sure*.

That makes me think that Jiwoon must have felt pressured his whole life too. I mean, one step wrong and he's out. One step wrong and and he's showered with heavy criticisms, like, we've seen that sometimes he's done NOTHING wrong and she still is displeased with him. If he comes as someone who uses drugs, idk what would be left for him.

I think that's what make Suha do what Tamponhead told him to do, because thid kind of thing is very serious in some cultures. Suha knew everything and he feared for Jiwoon so he bravely went with his abuser.

Redhead really is one of the worst antagonists, even his face makes me angry lolol he's nothiiinnggg very out of the ordinary. He's like the typical abuser who thinks he's better than everyone because he grew up in a very wealthy family that gave him support for everything, so he thinks he can do everything and mess with people's lives for fun.

Yes, Jiwoon is.... just, he doesn't want to bother Suha, I think. He still works very hard (sometimes hes even pushy) to win over Suha's heart. He thinks he can do everything by himself and take all the problems to himself but that's not fair with his partner. He doesnt want to scare Suha but I think Suha he even more mature than him, he'd understand and he'd love him fully, I'm sure, but Jiwoon doesnt know that yet

Agreed! And okay now I know the red head involved the grandmother. Thank you for the info. Gosh I seriously hate the red head.

What does he even want with Suha? It feels so unnecessary, but I guess that’s just the way of thinking of a monster. Red head just wants to mess around and hurt others.

I hope once Suha finds out his grandmother isn’t all that good, and that Jiwoon don’t give a damn about the company, he will realize the other side of the story. Honestly, imagine rooting for someone who you thought was good all this time—only to be one of the bad ones. Sure the grandmother paid off his debts, but that was her choice, Suha won’t owe his life, life is priceless, he has worked enough.

The grandmother just makes me frustrated, knowing the backstory of what happened to Jiwoon’s family and himself. And her not knowing how bad the red head was and still is.

I feel like one day the grandmother will make Suha do something for a bad plan cause as you said— “Suha will do anything for the grandmother”.

Probably another reason why Jiwoon took Suha’s phone away. And I agree that Suha is indeed more emotionally mature than Jiwoon in a way, both had different lifestyles/how they grew up.

I hope ch 87 uploads in the raws so I can see what r e red head is gonna do with that piece of paper .

Abusers really feel entitled to other's lives and emotions so redhead really pisses me off! I'm glad Suha doesn't think about him anymore (he struggled a lot :()

I know but like :( I understand Suha's point of view. The grandmother not only paid for his education but also gave him and his family support when most needed. He's got his job because of grandma, so she isn't 100% bad. She's unfair and abusive towards >Jiwoon< specificallly. So Jiwoon sees her in a bad light.

She doesn't know because redhead has always been the favorite and it is indeed very frustrating.

Me tooooooo :( I want tuesday again!!!! I need an update to see what happens. It's a pity it's the last season :( I love this manhwa, I don't understand why it isnt more popular...

Wait this isn’t popular? :O whatt

And yeah I get what you mean. Suha doesn’t know Jiwoon backstory while I think he does know Suha owes the grandmother, he doesn’t communicate his feelings as much as Suha does I think, both had different lifestyles/lives as I said.

Yes I agree the grandmother isn’t 100% bad but she’s still not good regardless, still bad but mostly towards Jiwoon. Maybe there will be some change towards the end of this last season. I just don’t like people who favors wealth and their own honor over their family who did nothing wrong but be born only to get hate for no good reason. I hate the parents the most in this case, they just abandoned Jiwoon.

I lived a different life compared to Suha’s life, we both have similar experiences but I’m never gonna owe anyone my life, I value my life and I know my worth—priceless, I’m confident enough to say that.

Suha is more humble, he’s very nice too and understanding of others. Well I on the other hand am blunt and I have my intuition of telling who’s being genuine or not, I’m not so friendly either, I’m the type who dislikes people that I first meet.

I see what you mean now sort of, Suha indeed does owe something to the grandmother but what does the grandmother want? I’m genuinely curious. She may not be bad after all, not good either of course.

I forgot what happened in the earlier chapters. Did the grandmother ever say she wanted something in return from Suha? She doesn’t seem like the type to just help a poor family as she abused Jiwoon for being the son of a broken family (his once mother). Ulterior motive perhaps? I’m skipping to conclusions ( ̄∇ ̄")

I mean-- it isn't as popular as it should be. I read many many manhwas but honestly only a few convience me that one character really care for another lol I like this one because we can almost feel how much they care and desire each other. Chapter 71 is one of my favorites ever.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the grandmother either lol but in Suha's eyes she can't be 100% bad. But he doesn't say he owes her his life or something like that, and also she never said that she wanted something in return, the only thing she said is that she saw a bright future for him, and how he had potential to become bigger.
Suha was with Jiwoon so he could be trained to later serve as secretary for readhead and then later for the grandmother. But Suha refused to work with redhead.

Well, each one of us has an experience with life and I don't blame Suha for his gratitude (even though the author said in one of the chapters that he isn't at ease with grandmother as much he isn't at ease with redhead). I like that he's nice and friendly but I also like Jiwoon's personality, he's more skeptical and closed personality.

Hhahahaha I think this manhwa is one of my fixations at the moment and I've reread it so many times-

“In Suha’s eyes, she can’t be 100% bad”, that’s very important saying, nicely put! In his eyes, she can’t be completely bad. And I don’t mean that Suha said he owes his life but in general. I’m saying I wouldn’t owe my life because no matter what one helps me with, my life is priceless, not for anyone to decide my death as a wish to be granted just cause they paid off my debts.

And yes I see what you mean now, I agree. I guess many people just want perfect Uke/seme, typical trope.
I see. I still feel like she has an ulterior motive, I guess I just can’t trust her since she treated people lower just cause they came from a less prestigious family. I’ll wait until it’s clear she’s not bad as before anymore.

Damn you remember a lot! Well it makes sense since you re read it a lot. I didn’t even know Suha was trained to become redhead’s Secretary, thank gosh Suha didn’t choose redhead.

I like friendly personality a lot, sometimes Suha lacks awareness (not realizing the obvious signs of Jiwoon not being in the right mind, etc), but that’s okay. For me, opposites attract, I mean I’m interested in people that are opposites of me.

If I wasn’t aromantic and had a person with Suha with a bit of Jiwoon mixed personality , I’m set for my love life forever. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Only four days for me until Tuesday. Can’t wait for the raws to update to ch 87!!
