Like this dumdum is already pitying this all-round villain with no redeeming traits so far, even joking with him. He's blackmailing, threatening and using her. Who would have any goodwill towards him after all that? FL apparently
Ofc shes taking pity on him, she made him, developed him to have a miserable life. So as a decend human being, she would feel responsible
Exactly, she made him so she knows (and we've seen her think it) that he's a cold-blooded, cunning, and brutal murderer with no remorse. She made him a villain and not a pitiful one either. Would a villain still be a villain if they didn't deserve their bad end?
Honestly it's just a bad set-up. The author (the real one I mean) should of introduced them a different way... unless she/he's aiming for a tragedy.
