Personally, I think it was more so Benney's fault. He knew the photographer was hitting on him but instead of turning him down immediately, he accepted the guy's advances and slept with him. If Benney had turned him down and stayed loyal, then none of this would've happened.

Also, (this is just my opinionwhat I believe ofc but) I wanted to point out, if Benney truly loved Aaron and was loyal to him, he would've spoken about the matter to Aaron and come up with a compromise. eg. Donor, adoption, etc.

If Benney's first reaction was to divorce him instead of taking Aaron to talk it out with a doctor and see if anything could be done/fixed, it brings me to believe that Benney was just looking for an excuse to leave Aaron (be it subconsciously or consiously).
