I read this years ago (when I first know yaoi) and I just watched the live action movie today. Since the movie gave vague ending, and if I recall correctly, the manga had clear cut happy ending, I read the manga again today. Honestly I am quite satisfied with how the movie turned out. Rather than those comical sweet happy ending, deep-thinking ending suits the movie better.
