What are you even talking about? I strongly disagree. He was surprised at first, who wouldn’t be surprised if a crazy bitch who was obsessed with you suddenly wanted to break up? And then they had a clean break up, which he accepted with GRACE and maturity. They both did. And since they broke up on good terms, they still talk to each other and he’s still supportive of her. Just because they broke up doesn’t mean he has to stop talking to her completely. It also doesn’t mean that he can’t gain new feelings he didn’t have before when he was chained on to the contractual relationship with the villainess. And when she rejected his help at that one party before, he apologized to her because he didn’t know what he did wrong. What do you mean “can’t handle rejection” he “handled” it very well and I feel like this comment is just trying to find something to criticize out of nothing. He hasn’t thrown a fit over her not liking him or anything like that. Like that one ex from “Father I Don’t Want to Get Marries!” When he invited her to that lunch to apologize directly to her, he also owned up for the mistakes he made in their relationship. Cedric is a pretty nice ex lover/male lead even though he has the title of “tyrant.” I see no significant error in his actions.
Because to me it seems more like an ego thing with "How dare you stop liking me" even if he's not necessarily rude about it and "handling it well." Yes they're probably going to fall in love but the fact of the matter is she told him to stay away, but he still INVITED HER SOMEWHERE TO APOLOGIZE. It all ended up well of course, but if it had gone in a more realistic way she'd have felt burdened because she doesn't want contact with this guy anymore. There are different ways to handle rejection that are wrong and different ways that are right. To cling onto someone who has treated you badly is call Stockholm syndrome look It up sweetheart because that quite frankly is what's happening here. She treated him badly, and then showed him a bit of something that could be perceived as kindness, now he's hooked. Even if she didn't keep him physically captive, he was still trapped. I do think that there could be genuine feelings now because her personality has changed but can we really call it real?
Also especially with the time period the story takes place in we know that woman are supposed to be pretty and quiet and willing which is also why he couldn't possibly fathom why that she'd want to leave him even though he's received her affection wrongly. (I do think she was wrong in her ways though, so don't get me wrong)

Here we go again with a story about a man who can't handle rejection even if it was out of nowhere. He only started liking her when she stopped liking him. I'm not going to say that she wouldn't have had a chance if she'd been good before but it's just annoying.
