Coming in late to comment but I just had to say I agree. Idk, I have no prejudice against sex workers but bc of personal experiences it's very triggering to read plots with prostitution and I can never enjoy the story ╥﹏╥
I hate both BL and non BL stories that involve prostitution from my own perspective. But this one didn’t show a lot of the scenes or too much of the scenes involving Shiro’s work. I think prostitution just triggers me, gets me emotional due to personal reasons.
But this one hit different. It involved emotions greatly. I can’t even eat my food without sobbing currently.
The emotions were written well here/portrayed well.
It shows Shiro’s reasons for his job, feeling helpless and just scared to love/feel the warmth of someone caring again.
Time to read the sequel
