What are “raws”?

Can someone explain to me what raws are? It’s my first time seeing it on a manga’s description. And i heard alot of people say “where are the raws?”

    a raw is the non-translated file!
    So for example if you have a manga released this week, its first scanned in then uploaded and edited so you can rewrite the text into english.
    People ask for the raws so they can see whats happening - some use MTL (machine translation) to understand and others just want to look at whats happening

    Its normally in the country of origin's language. So one piece raws are in japanese for example

    Raws are those manga/ua/wa which comes in original language i.e. Korean Japanese Chinese or any other language in which they are made and produced (original language.)
    That's why we call them raws..

    What we read here are translated version of those manga/ua/wa. [ We don't refer translated versions as raws ]

    im using manhwas as an example. the chapters in korean are released a bit before the english translated chapters, because it takes time for it to be translated. meaning the korean chapters are usually much further ahead by 2-30 chapters at a time. so when asking for raws, they want the chapters that are in korean to see how the story has progressed
