I agree... I almost got a whiplash with how fast they are adjusting. The story would've made more sense if the author make their adjustment a bit longer. But still, good read.

The story is good but it bothers me how fast everyone seemed to adapt to her entirely new personality. Also the fact that she favored liliana before even apologizing to Elliot makes me just a bit sad. I know actions really speak more than words and it's great that she does so much for both kids but it's also important to apologize to your son who you've been cold to for literally 7 years. Like how Elliot has to hide his talent in drawing, I have an inkling it's the og mother's fault for always belittling such talent but idk, well she encouraged him atleast so ig that's good. Maybe im just too sensitive also when are the parents gonna kiss they're so hot together
