I kind of like the bittersweet feeling. Reality sucks so when some of it spills over into fiction, it can be jarring hahaa
I think the issue with this manga was entirely the fact how it handled Mahoro's arc with Ren. It really didn't feel like he had truly moved on from Ren. You are made to believe everything is fine and dandy now when Azuma felt more like a emergency option for Mahoro.
You are soo right! Like bro, what the f you mean when you said you feel relief that the spec guy already have a partner?? What if he still want you? Are you gonna be in a continuous dilemma or jump in his arm straight away? Like??
Does he even truly love Azuma or a big part of him is still with the spec guy? Being the second choice sucks!! Azuma deserve better!
I like the story in the beginning too until the dude leave Azuma for the other guy. Smh.

Some people might see this as some romantic shit but for me, in both of the manga there are major issues that have been gaslighted. Well, I guess both of the manga does reflect the shitty real world that we live in. There will always be people getting hurt in the process of a person trying to figure themselves out. I guess I just can't accept that fact. Like nobody deserve being left out and it's always those nice people too
