Is it just me?

Is it just me or does it seem like Korean manhwa's or webtoons come out way quicker than Japanese manga? I guess I'm speaking in terms of romances because I swear it's the same story of I'll be reading a manga and a manhwa and the manwha will have like 50-60 incredible chapters where the work is solid and beautiful. Then I'll get a notification that a manga I read three years ago updated a chapter. Like I forgot the whole plot but thanks??? I don't even remember who I was when I started reading that but sure??? Does anyone else notice this kind of thing?

i noticed this too !!! tbh i think its because the shift in interest .. if were talking about bl manga and manhwa, lots of those manga artists are freelancers and or jumping between companies (hence the slow updates for 5-6 chapters), whilst manhwa has pretty set ones like lzhin. proper advertising, company name, and teams are the major differences. its easier to get english translations as official ones are releasing quick, whilst manga are a bit more difficult to clean and translate. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Mangas always been like that i like mangas when they end in 6 or 8 chp it makes story full of quality rather than dragging it and each chp worth the price in unlike manhwas. In my opinion mangas are my first priority.. even if i forget I just re-read I have waited for some 4 years and now they are completed it always worth it.
