The manga content is becoming more wholesome and fluffy that I'm feeling the pink sparkly background on my back.

But on a darker note, whenever there's conflict between a couple like Koriyama and Sawatari, I kinda want the more weaker and childish one to break off completely and find a normal kind of happiness, but only because I want to see the stronger and more menacing one in the relationship to go off-the-walls with jealousy.

It's not the manga's style at all, but I just imagine that that scene when Koriyama discovers that Sawatari actually pities him, and it fast forwards to the new year where Koriyama abandons Sawatari to enroll in the high school Satou is at because its the furthest school from his original school, so he needs to leave much earlier on his bike. He goes at different times though so that they never just 'happen' to see each other.

Then Koriyama acts like an asshole at school, and everyone just ignores him except for Makimura who may not be able to get a girlfriend but is able to be friendly with anyone, and this pulls Koriyama into the manga's usual dynamic.

The girls warn Satou to not get close to him though since they heard about how horrible he was at his previous school but was protected by his friend. But that only makes Yoshida more curious about him as they are both outcasts. The two eventually get into a scene outside of school that leads to them arguing but because of Yoshida being comical since he's not mean spirited at all, they have a genuine chat after cooling down. And this leads to Koriyama finally making his first genuine friend since Yoshida isn't seen as a threat to Koriyama popularity or talent wise, but he has a far better personality that's easy to get along with.

This leads to Koriyama still being an egotistical jerk, but he's not as narcissistic as before, so people aren't as avoidant or annoyed with him. Plus, he helps keep the girls off Yoshida's back when they attempt to sabotage him because they're that turned off by his personality. Naturally, Satou is not happy when Yoshida clings to Koriyama to calm them down when they get angry with him. Although this only leads to more cute jealous Satou since he doesn't regard Koriyama a threat to his love life.

The two even tolerate each other's presence since Satou doesn't waste time pitying anyone. Eventually Sawatari spots him with Satou on a weekend (Yoshida and his friends had gone inside the store to find something valuable and it was packed so the two were waiting outside). Sawatari thought that there was no way that the two could be friends so it must've been coincidence, but then witnesses Koriyama share something interesting on his phone to Satou and the two get too close for his own comfort (Which is honestly at a normal distance but he cray cray).

Sawatari confronts him in his room, and they get into a huge fight where Koriyama tells him off that he won't be pitied and that he doesn't need Sawatari anymore in his life! That everyone may love him but he meant nothing to him! This leads to Sawatari remembering how Koriyama cruelly tells him that he won't care if he died, which leads to things getting physical, but Koriyama was able to grab something off his night stand and smack him hard enough to get him off him, and runs out of his house.

He goes to Yoshida's place and tells his mom he's not coming back home because he knows she'll take Sawatari's side. Yoshida's mom lets him stay for a few days, but to consider making up with his parents eventually.

Satou doesn't like the arrangement and doesn't want Yoshida's home to get in the mix of it, so he takes Koriyama to his apartment instead. This of course leads to Sawatari completely losing his shit, and he directly confronts the two (Yoshida and his friends are also there), and is able to persuade Koriyama to talk, but with the gang on the side watching them.

Koriyama does apologize for hitting him in the head, and told him honestly that he did care about Sawatari but was jealous of how beloved he was by everyone else and to be someone special to him made him feel superior. He tells Sawatari that he's happier now, and that Sawatari needed to stop being so charitable. Sawatari finally admits that it wasn't out of pity, that he only said that to his friends just to be cruel for moment, knowing that Koriyama was listening, but he deeply regrets it because the truth was that he wanted to be someone useful to Koriyama, and at moment of weaknesses when he didn't feel that way, despised him for it. He kisses Koriyama which shocks the gang and they pull Koriyama out of it.

But Koriyama is smitten in the end, and decides to go back home and be with Sawatari. Koriyama still goes to the same school as Yoshida, but spends the rest of his days outside of it with Sawatari (to prevent bloodshed, lol, just kidding).
