I think it's maybe because 1. she wants to be an adventurer instead of the duchess , and 2. she likes the children and doesn't want to take away their chance at being the heir (because they want it, while she doesn't)
But I do agree that it would be nice if she had a little fun with her powers to punish that horrible excuse of a father lol
if she wanted to be an adventurer so bad.. she should just run away. if she always uses her sword there’s no way anyone would recognize her as the “disqualified heir” especially in another country/kingdom. just cover her forehead- or ask that god to cover it up.
she’s not the heir- she will never be the heir to the family she has been PERMANENTLY BRANDED as incompetent. her father (and everyone else) makes it clear that she has no value in her family. (hence why they were to ‘protect the magic stone’ and not protect the sole child of the dukes family) if she ran away the kids would be able to fight amongst themselves for who gets to rule the house.
