The thing is that these gods are from old religions no one practice nowadays so there is little offense, but the morbid/kink stories that involve current religion are almost always Catholic-themed. They're rarely about Protestants, Buddhists, Hinduism and even less Muslims. I am not a believer but the stories of corrupt and evil Catholic pastors and nuns are getting old.

That makes so sense. Christianity was pro slavery, pro stoning those who had per marital sex, killing homosexuals, pro incest and so on. Many of these things are now illegal. So the modern "Christians" can grow up and evolve like they have in the past cause in alot of places homosexuality is LEGAL.
