Genuine Question

Man, I've been wondering this for a while. I don't get it. Not judging, I truly don't understand the enjoyment of love triangles either. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Right? Sometimes when I see three people in the cover I'm like, "yeaaaah, pass."

Finally some sane people, cause love triangles are the biggest red flags for me, I avoid it like the plague

Exactly and let's be real. It's not even a love triangle..it's love a love angle. In order for it to be a triangle. 1 person needs to like 2 people to close the line.

Yeah most of the time it's two people that like the same person, but even that's also annoying. Anything involving potential romance involving three people is just frustrating and a complete turn-off.

EXACTLY!!! I especially hate when the 2nd ML is just used as a catalyst for ML and MCs relationship.

Also tell me why in love triangles its always (90% of the time) involving someone the MC has a history with. Whether it's romantic or just friends and then the 2nd ML is a new person. It's so annoying

No bc they’re so annoying, I hate it when I find something and I’m excited to read and I’m soo into it then another really hot character shows up (it’s never a coincidence) it’s happened so much over the years I just always scan the comments and tags to make sure it’s not a love triangle

OH MY GOD! Yes! It's always some super hot childhood friend from their past or some ex that made the relationship go to shit. Most of the time.

I do this ritualistically when I read something. I hate wasting my time on nonsense that doesn't even need to be included in the story. Like, the second love interest somehow always makes the main ship go down the drain. One person can do that much damage? Also I are they always SUPER attractive too?

Nahhh fr and it sucks bc I usually like the other love interest but they never chose them, and once I read something 20+ chapters and ANOTHER HOT GUY CAME UP, I wanted to CRYY, it was a love triangle

personally i only like CERTAIN type of love triangles?? bc some of them are genuinely unbearable .

i like to read kinda comedic type ones? where the author doesn't take it THAT serious bc it's silly for everyone involved and doesn't me want to explode when it's silly :3

i couldnt tell you because theyre usually either incredibly stressful and cause major second hand embarrassment or just severely one sided and cause second hand embarrassment

I m over from love triangle after love of hate manhwa that manhwa turn off for me for a love triangle i don't like this concept cuz I end up having heavy crush on second lead.

ME TOO, After that manhwa I hated love triangles even more. I hated the ML, I hated the couple dynamic and I hated the end game.

So true , I see no point in author for adding Taku while they gonna end up she just used Taku's unique character as a thing for two stupid characters to realise their feelings ...

Agreed. It really pisses me off when authors use a character as a catalyst to develop the main couples relationship and the stepbrother thing already put me off. I never understood how the ML had so many fan girls his character was bland and boring #Yawn.

And the way they try to justify his actions becomes his past was so sad.

I don't even like saying his name because I hated him so much.

This manhwa really triggers me. I avoid talking about at all cost. Don't want to stir up bad memories.
