I genuinely felt this for the longest time, but the impact the first chapter had on me is unimaginable. Like I loved how they didn't show Sagae's face till the end, making you wonder how vile they would've looked being a spoiled rich kid, however when we do get to see his face, it's one of pure innocence and happiness. Which makes his death even more emotional, since after all he was but a child as well, who was perceived in all malicious ways without people ever knowing his real self.
