It's the fact that this is what the reasoning should have been. But his reason is like the reasons of thousands of the girl fathers, which is "Daughter like man, man is important to the kingdom but IDC, he needs to be punished". Like dude he himself admits that Airen has a positive impact on everyone around
Why do you need to make him so generic?? He could've handled the situation like a mature adult and conversed with Airen but no he is too fuckin overprotective.
I'm sorry for the rant but this trope is just so goddamn annoying to me
hmm, but you have to be aware, if he was a perfect mature father, it would be impossible for his first child to disappear and his daughter to have problems with her personality after her older sibling disappeared to the point where she could be possessed by a demon. from this it can be concluded that he is not a perfect father. in the comic world, let alone the real world, nothing is perfect (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
actually I feel funny about her father, 1. her father didn't do anything to hurt our honey butter mc. 2. actually boosted his enthusiasm hahaha (Maybe this is the author's intention) (≧∀≦)
but everyone can have a different opinion (●'◡'●)ノ
I see the points you mentioned, even I don't consider him to be perfect, i just said he should've been mature
Perfection doesn't really equate to maturity right? And even though he isn't harming our MC he is clearly pushing him way too far, now since this is a comedic relief scene, he isn't hurt but if this was a serious scene it would've left mc with multiple wounds since her father is clearly an extremely powerful swordsman
in the MC era, as long as you weren't beaten to death. I think it's still said to be good, the situation and conditions there are very harsh, so i think little bit of big injury is okay, besides, her father uses more power because he adapts to MC's strength, if he was full power from the start of this comic would be end.
For exp the other comic. As a teacher, he beats mc and does something to increase the strength of the mc who if not mc might have been buried (murim login) But no one hate grampa ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
and if we think about the real world, many people don't make mature decisions too. but who are we to ask the author's characters to make mature decisions?
The problem is that many people hate her father too much, I read the comments and everyone seems to really hate him even though I don't think he did anything very evil or inhumane. I think his father wanted to beat MC, at least until he was black and blue, not dead or in a coma so dont hate him too much ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶, i think you love honey butter airen too much

Why are you all overreacting to his father? It seems like her father was just worried (panic + stress etc) because his son was gone missing, leaving only his only daughter and from the start her father was very protective of his daughter. and now he finds out that his daughter is having an adventure together with a boy. There is an Airen who looks like he doesn't know, which could trigger her father's anger even more. Maybe her father's reaction was a bit excessive but it was still normal. But surely every father will find it difficult to let his little princess be with another man.
