Unfortunately, childhood abuse, specially in a world without a therapist, isn’t that easy to heal. It’s very real of the character to simply not trust like everyone is expecting. But I have to agree that it’s a story so no progress can get tiring.

It's unfortunately poorly written trauma, if it wasn't so hilariously bad I'd wholeheartedly agree that a slow-paced healing process is much more realistic. Wouldn't necessarily be boring either ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I agree with you, but the thing is that they still could’ve done that progress and then shown her like slight outburst of her still feeling that trauma and not being cared for at all but different aspects of it not just the romantic feeling of nobody can love me But actually, sometimes feeling like that and just anxious herself without it being so freaking dramatic would’ve been very, very nice. It would’ve still given her progress, but not took it to the extreme of everything completely fine now.
