Idk if it helps but sometimes when it does that, I just looked at Chrome/Google's History since it tells you what chapters you click
you have the little "clock" icon I believe on the top right of the page which keeps your read history. I hope this helps!
I usually just add whatever i’m reading to my list for like continue reading so I can easily go back to it idk if this will help or not tho :3

I think that clock thingy resets every day or i think if you are in incognito mode but it should be fine if you press it and then show all?
that's weird. it works perfectly fine for me even when im logged out. I hope yours will be fixed soon!
Does it reset and show nothing only when you click on the icon? Because for me it doesn’t show in icon but if I click on “show all” it takes u to new page and shows all your history even if clicking on icon comes up empty
