well let’s think abt it for a second first og violet was an awful person who theo didn’t like in the first place and og violet forced him to marry her, taking advantage of her noble status. yes he was a cheating mf but let’s not forget og violet was horrible too, to the point of abusing her child in the name of “love”. theo in the new timeline would have absolutely no reason to cheat, not that he should anyway, but he seems to genuinely love violet this time because she isn’t a bad person this time okay

Like i get he doesnt want to be with evil violet but his daughter is still his blood. Like didnt he consider her as a successor to the family cuz clearly he wasnt planning to get another child (maybe a son) with evil violet. Unless he wants the other daughter to succeed, and potentially be shunned by others for being a illegitimate child??

And also hes kinda shitty as a dad to his illegitimate daughter cuz why the f would you bring her home to a harsh environment??? Why not divorce evil violet first and kick her out with her daughter AND THEN bring home the daughter you love?? Instead he brought her home to a place where there is clearly hostility towards her, and its not like he doesnt know how cruel evil violet is...

Kinda sound like Theo is using his illegitimate daughter as a way to find an excuse to divorce evil violet.

this is a very fair take and something everyone should note too. to add to that, because theo was forced to marry evil violet and was engaged from the start as proposed by his mother, it let his resentment fester for years, to the point of hating evil violet and everything related to her, which unfortunately included their child they had TOGETHER which is crazy cuz that’s your kid too bro i think it’s important to take into account how the environment you’re raised in affects your character, because hating someone your supposed to marry cannot possibly turn you into a good person. but again because in the new timeline theo has no reason to behave like this, i think it’s fair to give him another chance
