This art truly was such a unique thing that it also matched the vibe for the novel. This story has mature content and it gets dark in the middle so read with caution if you still want to pursue it, the novel. Fortunately, it’s completed so power through the dark times.
Personally, I may not agree with the themes but I really like it. And the fanfics even made it better! I highly recommend you read the fanfics after finishing the novel. I forgot the author but how she wrote her HHYL fics were like a continuation of the story, or similarly written. She definitely captured the og author’s style of writing and storytelling! (づ￣ ³￣)づ
Still crying that the manga adaptation, this work right here, was discontinued T.T rather rare to see this kind of art style but it doesn’t last T.T I could have supplied my own cravings if I had the talent, skill, creativity, and vision to draw like this （/TДT)/
