I've always thought this, and I still think it, but romance is really not sae's thing. Losing her virginity at a young age and being neglected by her family must've made her yearn for fulfillment, romance is not the best solution because it requires 2 people ro put in the effort. Her 'maturing' in the original peach girl was still her yearning for romance, she didn't move on from it so i think this was a better conclusion to her story.
I'm rlly mad at kairi and I still wanted toji to be endgame, but kairi clearly cares more for momo more than toji. it's just that
to end this all off I really think sae and momo could've had a relationship later on
