she knows what happened in the book but the book details only says that the serpent children goes abroad to study for 2 years, it didn't go into the details on what happened to them for 2 years
so what they felt during those time was out of grasp of the female lead as she is still a child & have no knowledge regarding their situation
basically she was clueless because the book didn't said that the serpents were locked up
Just make the MC a normal girl living in this world if she's not going to use any of her prior knowledge about the book and being a reincarnated person and all.
Like she knew from the get go they were going to stay there for longer than a month, and didn't bother trying to escape till they're all practically insane?
