For proof, I suggest looking into some of Thom Browne, Rick Owens and Yohji Yamamoto’s collections and the celebrities they dress. For example Oscar Isaac and Pedro Pascal have worn Thom Browne skirts, as well as many others and Isaac has a whole wife so ╮(￣▽￣)╭

100% agree! There are undoubtedly straight men out there in the world that want to wear skirts, but are afraid to because of the ‘rule’ that men cannot wear feminine clothing. Sexuality absolutely does NOT determine one’s sense of style! This manga is breaking those boundaries, and if Taichi feels confident wearing a skirt, then what’s the problem? Parts of that hatred absolutely stems from transphobia and homophobia.
Your biggest mistake is you’re talking about American standards. Boys wearing girl uniforms in Asia is definitely not acceptable and they were and will be humiliated for it. Not to mention why are you bringing up Transgenderism??? The boy in the manga literally say he doesn’t want to be a girl or want to wear women clothing persay. It’s literally just a manga about a teen boy who wanted to try wearing a skirt because he thought it was cool.
You are clearly not trying to understand what the message and just spouting nonsense because the manga doesn’t fit your PERSONAL view of the world. Most men probably don’t want to wear women’s clothing but the point was why mock those who do? Also no one is really crying about anything. Also please keep in mind EVEN PRINCE was often mocked for his more feminine attire, most even thought he was homosexual.
When nobody is worrying or crying about how boys can wear skirts and dresses if they want to but no straight boy would ever want do that. Plus, Boys were already doing typical "feminine" things. Prince the singer looked badass with heels and blouses. Transgenderism isn't a trend.
