*WARNING*Spoilers.....

SO THEY HAVE TWO CHILDREN AT THE END
GUESS WHAT? AS USUAL A SON AND A DAUGHTER..
BUT OFC THE SON HAS TO DISLIKE SWORDS AND BECOME A SO-CALLED INTELLECTUAL WHILE THE DAUGHTER BECOMES A SWORDMASTER OR SWORD PRODIGY ..
CAN'T U MAKE IT MORE PREDICTABLE..
I GET THE FEMINISTS VIBE KOREAN ARTISTS WANTS ... BUT THERE IS A LIMIT TO REPEATING THE SAME... NOT AGAINSTS GIRLS HOLDING A SWORD..... BUT OFC BEING INTELLECTUAL AND HOLDING SWORDS AIN'T SHAMEFUL...
AND AS USUAL THE SON TAKES UPON MOTHER AS A FLOWER GUY .... AND AS IF IT WASN'T ENOUGH HE HAS TO INHERIT A LOWER STATUS TOO..
THIS TREND IS GETTING PRETTY BORING AND BIZARRE..
CAN'T U BE NEUTRAL

I agree with you it gets tiring when the same trope is repeated over and over again :)

I don't think you appreciate just how anti-feminist large segments (read cis-men) in South Korea currently are right now

Like to the point of cancelling female identifying celebrities (athletes, idols, YouTube personalities etc.) for things like having their hair short or reading certain books (that aren't even explicitly feminist).

My point is while it may seem 'boring' to you, showing women and men having interests that are the opposite of gendered expectations still are really, really important ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

South Korea is still deeply sexist, conservative and misogynistic unfortunately.

But it IS progressing! And any and all representation (however trivial) makes a difference

Okay, this is an important point. To us it sounds boring, but because we already have a less misogynistic society. To them, it's a point that has to be hammered until it stays. So it makes sense it appears so much.

I know South Korea is one of the most conservative country and very unwelcoming to just anyone, females , LGBTQ,foreigners, black browns.
But guys do we also need hammer of feminism?
I even stopped watching the k-dramas due to excessive misogynistic points which are hard for me to digest (︶︿︶)=凸

Well, what can we say. We are just a reader. The author have right of story to make. If you can't accept their trend, you can stop. No one stopping you.

I can understand the part of repeating the same trend and plot of story. Because I do get annoyed of certain repeating plot and character in manhwa that I read. It should align with 'same person but different font' phrase, I guess.

To sum up, didn't like it, just stop. For the one that like it, continue on. Anywayyysss.. happy reading.(〜 ̄△ ̄)〜

It is certainly not NK, right?
Well what u said is also the truth we are simply readers and the manhwas world is completely under one god and that's the author ...

But...aren't those misogynistic points exactly why the implicit and explicit illustrations of equality and folks not being bound by gendered roles?

Not trying to argue haha, just felt the need to reply

Ultimately as others said we are definitely at the will of the authors and their experiences & visions for their work

Yep Exactly same thing rinse and repeat. I think this is the 13th novel/manwha with the same ending with kids.

sad to say i agree with you, it's nice when a country can preserve their tradition and culture but sadly they also preserve the toxic aspect of the past generation
