The double standards. When a man does it, example. Carcel from promises are meant to be broken ring something I forgot. He was forced into the marriage with FL and everyone shamed him for sleeping with women when he didn’t even willingly consent to the marriage. And was manipulated too. They are still lashing out at him for that. But here a woman has a whole lover by side and no one bats an eye
Tbh the only reason I'm really reading this is because the ML quite literally couldn't give less of a shit about her around the start of the story, like he really did not care for her in the slightest and good for him, and seeing the FL realize she's been too cautious and biased about how she sees him and the ml is just having fun.
Also one thing to note Carcel acknowledges he's a shitty person for cheating and referred to himself as filthy and a "used rag" for what he's done even if they weren't actually married and weren't even acting like lovers he felt guilt when he realized he'd done something horrible to the FL( Though she didn't really care since she'd planned his affairs in hopes of living alone with no need for a man).
. While our FL is just like " yeah we fucked what about it" like she's literally so shameless about her lover yet has the nerve to pull the "I'm his wife" card on the husbands ex.

Exactly. Exactly. People never spare the ML. They would've definitely said that no matter whether the marriage was one of convenience or not, it's still cheating. But if it's a female, people are literally saying that's not a cheating trope and what not? So many manhwas start with arranged marriages and no feelings between the couple or even animosity but still if the ml sleeps around he's called what he is, a cheater. I was considering picking this up but I've been lied to cus tell me why people told me Fredrick and FL aren't a thing and we're just putting on a fake lovers show but on ch 6 FLs whole body is full of hickeys and her doctor reminds her not to get pregnant, they've definitely been fucking and anyone who says otherwise must be crazy.
Like the reason I was so iffy about reading this one is cus I was like okay obviously the husband is gonna be the ml and when he finds out they were faking it he'll pursue her but now that ik FL has been getting her back blown out for the past 3 years in the same house she lives in with her husband how in the hell is that gonna work like omg that feels so wrong. And knowing the mls attitude he might just not give a shit and it's great FL might get development but how y'all just gonna act like the past 3-4 years weren't just some disgusting ntr shit show.
You know maybe they'll explain away the hickeys on a later ch so I'm gonna keep reading but it's getting more and more difficult to like FL.
