Ok so this is just a scenario I’m thinking of……………………………………………………………………………………………………………..so we see in the past that the king was unsure why he killed the witches, he claimed that a voice had told him to do so, and his body just did it. What if it was another witch who hated her sisters and had them killed or if she hated Anita. That or it could’ve been a demon or something but highly doubt their god would just whisper to him like “hey man so let’s make a genocide” especially if witches were there for awhile…I feel like someone we haven’t met yet but was present in the past did all this. That’s why it’s hard to see Anita as the villain she has valid reasons to be mad, but with stuff we’re learning from the past it seems the king wasn’t bad I think just manipulated to seem so. But eh I might be wrong ╮(￣▽￣)╭
