I actually really like how protective kinard is of yesing, consistently throughout the story and how mutually supportive their dynamic is. Idk love when characters have other ppl they care about than just their love interest. It's also super funny now that he's losing his mind spelling out the obvious to Shahid re: yesing with zero success
